For over 35 years across the automotive coatings and refinish industry—managing market territories for both Sherwin-Williams and AkzoNobel, and partnering daily with leading national master distributors—one reality remained consistent: the collision industry was running modern vehicles with 1970s record-keeping tools.

Every Friday in body shops across the country, the same scenes play out: technicians frantically digging through toolboxes for wet, torn, or misplaced paper timecards. Shop owners and general managers spending hours auditing messy handwritten RO entries and manually keying numbers into payroll. And when hours go missing, trust erodes on the shop floor.

Meanwhile, the industry faces an unprecedented technician shortage, while paint manufacturers, consumable brands, and master distributors have lacked a direct, real-time channel to understand what is happening at the workbench.
